Art as a Catalyst for Innovativeness and Social Connectedness

In connection with the celebration of Art Month, the JPMAP-PLM has flourishingly promoted the power of imagination, creative process, connectedness, and camaraderie through the execution of an activity entitled "Le rêve valentin: Dream Valentine Booth." The said activity mainly focuses on selling and distributing merchandise boxes, including ribbon roses and handwritten poems, with the purpose of remembering our loved ones through gift-giving.

The buyers can choose from three variations of gift packages, and it comes with different inclusions and prices: Set A includes one rose, and one handwritten poem, Set B has three roses and one handwritten poem, while Set C comprises five roses, one heart-shaped chocolate, and one handwritten poem. These merchandise boxes were released successfully from February 13, 2023, to February 15, 2023, at JPMAP-PLM's Booth at PLM Grounds.

By all means, the accomplishment of this activity would be far-fetched from reality without the help of the JPMAP-PLM officers involved in the production process. These people, led by the Committee for Marketing and Creatives, are primarily responsible for establishing compelling ideas. They also utilize their skills and creativity and exert their time and effort to allow our organization to develop innovative products and promotional materials. The production team proves that not all art forms are tangible. Sometimes, the essence of art is reflected in the creative process through social bonds and camaraderie. Indeed, the celebration of Art Month has fostered individuals by offering venues for shared enjoyable experiences and encouraged imaginativeness in the workplace that helped boost business success.

Along with creating the actual items, making the products also build connections among the officers. Who would imagine that the gentle buzz of their conversation and laughter would lead to a sense of connectedness where they feel like they are working toward a common goal and are genuinely linked to other people with similar purposes and aspirations? They take advantage of the strength of their already-established bonds and relationships to reach greater levels of commitment and boost productivity.

Although the prime objective of this event is to highlight creativeness and to generate funds through the making of flowers, handwritten poems, and gift packages for the growth of our organization, the commemoration of Art Month has also brought another realization. There is a mind-blowing effect when you surround yourself with like-minded people. A group of individuals actively working toward a specific goal while maintaining a positive outlook will produce a significant result.

As we celebrate the artistic greatness and uniqueness of the Filipino heritage and culture this month, let's keep using our aesthetic sensibility even in small or big things. This can help create a community more rooted in things that lead us to more outstanding, meaningful ingenuity for the ongoing development of our community and organization.
