The Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is celebrated on December 8. It is also declared as a special non-working holiday under the Republic Act No. 10966.
The Blessed Mary, also called as "The Principal Patroness of the Philippines," is honored by many. Known for being a committed servant of God who faithfully followed and obeyed His commandments. She is also known for her unwavering faith, humility, and motherly adoration for Jesus. As good Christians, we don't just commemorate her Feast Day; we also take our time to reflect and remember the virtues she exemplified so that we could become more like her, especially during these difficult times.
