The JPMAP-PLM Chapter organized a Fund-Raising Activity entitled “Send Me A Letter”. Its objective is to raise funds by making handwritten letters and sending gift packages to loved ones available to all HRM and OM students at a reasonable price and;
to help Mr. Aldrin John Ignacio or “Adeng”, a fellow PLM student who is diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, in his medical expenses. In line with this year’s Art Month, the Junior People Management Association of the Philippines – PLM Chapter aims to showcase its officer’s creativity while being able to help a fellow PLM student.
The Fund-Raising Activity sold a total of 119 gift packages, which amounted to Php 12,000.00 proceeds. For Adeng’s recovery, he needs continuous chemotherapy sessions, which we know is a very expensive treatment. Therefore, half of the proceeds were given to “#HelpAdengHeal”. It is an initiative launched by Adeng’s group of friends to raise funds for his medical expenses. The remaining half of the proceeds were used for the activities and the events of the organization. This activity helped encourage students to support art in a way that will benefit not only the organization but our fellow PLM schoolmates who needed our help.
